In 1984, Suzanne acquires part of shares owned by Gilles.

In 1985, the plant is expanded again by 8,400 feet.

In 1989, a sturdy snowplow is fabricated to be adapted to a loader. It is the LC4000.

In 1991, Lucien, Réjean and Suzanne acquire the balance of the shares owned by Gilles.

In 1992, Lucien transfers part of its shares to both his son Laurent and Jocelyn. Lucien remains President, Réjean, Secretary-Treasurer, Suzanne, Vice-President, Laurent, Purchasing Manager and Jocelyn, Sales Manager.
A new, entirely revolutionary type of wing is conceived in 1994. The JC5000 with a complete tiling moldboard unique to Côté. To meet the needs of a new clientele while pursuing the activities in the snow removal equipments, W. Côté & Fils Ltée manufactures, in 1995, a surfacer for new type snowmobile paths. From the on, the snowmobilists have the paths of their dreams owed to the SS600.
Following a constant demand by some of the customers, a new snow removal equipment is created, in 1996, such as the HM400 serial for one ton trucks. It is an almost perfect reproduction of the large equipment in miniature. It's dazzling success proves, once again, that Côté has always been avant-gardist and will remain for a long time.
